does anyone if the AE2 bus stops at the New Siam Riverside hotel. As I have never been to Thailand before I dont want to get the bus and not know where I am. Hoping if it does go there I will know when I get there. Any help please.!!

AE2 bus

This link says that the AE2 drops passengers off right near it!

(If I have the right place.)

Airport Express link:

When you get on the bus the bus employee will quiz you as to where you want to get off. Also, when you sign up to pay for your ticket you can verify that the bus actually goes near your hotel.

Couple things to clear up. What time are you arriving at the airport? If you arrive later than 1145 PM you won%26#39;t have time to get the LAST Airport Express bus. Airport Express bus stops running at midnight!

Also, if there are 2 of you or more in your party it will be almost the same price or cheaper than taking the bus. The bus fare is 150 baht per passenger. Meter taxi from the airport will be around 350 baht but that covers everyone in the taxi - not per passenger! So, at a minimum of two people in a meter taxi your fare won%26#39;t be much more than the 300 baht the two of you would pay on the bus. Bus takes twice as long as a meter taxi and the taxi is door to door! Have a photo copy of the hotel info page showing their map and proper address - don%26#39;t just have a hotel name (too many sound the same.)

Lots and lots of posts on how to get a meter taxi from the airport and where to go and how much to pay. Even some of the posts tell you what color the meter taxi sign up desk is! What is different from some of the older posts is the location of where the meter taxi desk is located now. Oct. 1 it was moved to the first floor vs outside arrivals hall. Haven%26#39;t seen this personally so I am going on what was written in the newspaper.

Good luck.

AE2 bus

The answer is, yes, the AE2 goes down Phra Athit Road right by the New Siam Riverside.

And please listen to what Infidelal says regarding the bus versus a taxi. The maximum a taxi could cost is 400 baht. If 3 people are together, or team up, it%26#39;s less than the bus for 3 people, and not much more than it would be for 2 people. For door-to-door service.
