Hi,

I am wondering if it would be worthwhile to visit doi inthanon national park. I only have limited time in chiang mai (4 and a half days) and can spend one the days to visit the mountain. I also need to know what will be the most efficient way of getting there to maximize my time for fun instead of spending on the road. Any advise on good trekking guide that will do one day trekking?

Visit Doi Inthanon National Park will take the whole day. There are 4-5 attractions. I%26#39;m not sure Keaw Mae Pan Trail will open on rainy season or not. This trail you need to contact with the park first and hire local guide. Should take 3 hours with this stop.

You can go to Doi Inthanon by buying one dat trip from tour company or you can take the bus and get local bus to the mountain.

How many people in your trip ? You can hire taxi or minivan if go more than 4 people.

You might check with Sargent Kai about tours. He loves hiking on Doi Inthanon and takes folks walking on some of the lesser known tracks. He is mentioned throughout this forum.

Could someone name me a hotel in Inthanon National Park please? TA only lists 2 resorts. I found Navasoung but it seems to be up near Mae Hong Son Loop.

Any price is fine. I only need the names %26amp; will do my own search.

There aren%26#39;t any hotels inside Doi Inthanon NP. The nearest ones are probably Navasoung Resort in Mae Chaem or Khao Mai Lanna Resort south of Hang Dong.

The park service has simple bungalows inside the park which you can book online:

Try Touchstar Resort or Inthanon Highland Resort, both are at the base of Doi Inthanon.
