3)what is the best area to stay in krabi for our needs:near ao nang...ortubkaak beach,,,or railey or phi phi islands......(any recommendation for resorts)

4)in case we stay in aonang,,,how difficult is for us to go to more beautiful beaches like reailey in day or night and come back....

5)what activities can we do in krabi...

6) the last thing ,,i was going through some resorts with in room jacuzzi as its our honeymoon i hope you understand.....but not able to find one whch meets my requirments and budgets,,,,,i am happy to spend 7000-9000 bath for my reuirments a night......(is it possible)...the other thing is at the moment there are no pacakages availabe for that period,,,,should i wait..

hi ,ry he klong muang / tubkaak areas and go into ao nang at night if you need to by axi approx. 500 baht

klong muang hotels nakamanda, sheraton and sofiel are all located in or near a village witth a few restaurants ,shops etc. close by.

tubkaak look at amari and the tubkaak all good hotels to meet your requirements.

imho ao nang has a poor beach and fast becoming to touristy.

lastly try dealing with the hotels direct as tourist numbers are well down and there are some good prices by dealing direct.

The best beach IMO is Tubkaek Beach - about a 20min drive north of Ao Nang. It is a far superior beach to Ao Nang and the Nakamanda, Sheraton and Sofiotel resorts and with far better vioews of the Hong Islands. Located on Tub Kaek beach is The Tubkaak Resort and the Amari Vogue Resort - both 5 star resorts on this secluded beach where only a few long tail operators work from.

We stayed at the Amari Vogue and loved it. We had a honeymoon suite (room 5401) wchih si the top level on the left wing with amazing views of the beach, bay and Hong Islands. Room 4401 (on the right wing) is more elevated and arguably may hage better views.

Both rooms atre honeymoon suites, which are amazing rooms complete with terrazzo spa bath%26#39;s on their balcony (also with table and seats for two and sun lounger). The service, food, rooms and day spa are outstanding. Check out our review on our stay, complete with pics.

You could also consider staying at West Railay. Both Railay Village and Railay Bay have private villas with Jacuzzi%26#39;s. Railay village has spa villas that has jacuzzi for 8250 bht with sawasdee.com . We stayed at railay village last time ( pool villa) and LOVED it there. The pools were gorgeous, the rooms were fantastic and impeccable with huge bathrooms with seperate shower and tub. We%26#39;re going back again in December with our kids. Railay Bay also has jacuzzi%26#39;s in their privacy cottage (6000 bht), suite cottage ( 8900 bht) and a more expensive option. These prices are through sawasdee.com and for your time frame. Also note that railay bay has mandatory transfers while railay village does not. Taxes and everything are included in those prices as well as breakfast.

Railay beach is fantastic, and there is another incredible beach, Phra Nang, a leisurely 10 min walk from West Railay. We were there in January of 2009 and did not find it crowded at all, not even remotely. There isn%26#39;t much in the way of shopping in Railay, however a longtail boat ride to Ao Nang should meet your shopping needs. THere are several restaurants to choose from between east and west Railay ( 5 min walk from one side to the other).

January is the perfect time to go to Krabi.

As for what to do, you can do day trips out to Phi Phi or Phang Nga bay. There%26#39;s 4/5 island snorkelling trips. Emerald pools and hot springs. Visiting Krabi town and Ao Nang.

Krabi is fantastic, you are going to love it! :)

Hi.

I could see that you stayed in Amari Vogue Krabi.I am going there next week. Also, honeymoon room. But they told me that there is just one room left on the ground floor with the garden view. What do you think,is that room ok ? As I understood you, there are sun beds on the terrace?

Dear Maldivi

The Honeymoon Deluxe rooms are the most popular rooms and are therefore often sold out quite some time in advance. The ground floor ones are the same rooms with a huge balcony/terrace and jacuzzi tub. Surrounded by lush vegetation.

Bearing in mind that we are all hoping for great weather, you would be spending most of your time on the beach or by the pool - the best spot to be! I will hopefully see you when you get in, have a safe trip over! If you have any questions drop me a PM, happy to help.
