In on the Beach

For those of you interested. I have just returned from 3 nights at In on the Beach and don%26#39;t know what some people are on about.

In on the Beach is at the far end of Karon by itself opposite to lovely clear watered, sandy beach. About a 5 min walk into town, which was easy. It is a small establishment and we loved it.. It is not 5 star nor a major resort and doesn%26#39;t pretend to be.

The rooms are nice and clean and all rooms face the pool which is lovely and refreshing.

Breakfast is served upstairs on the roof, which was nice. It has a local restaurant next door and a few up the road which we ate at regularly. Good cheap local food , yum. And people lovely.

We loved this place and would definitely go again. It is isn%26#39;t posh or upmarket but if you are looking for place which is reasonable in price, opposite great beach and not in the middle or all the hussle and bussle and staff are friendly you will like In on the Beach.

We have travelled a bit and after reading TA posts decided on In on the Beach and it we were pleased we chose here.

I think the biggest issue previously with in-on-the-beach was that, due to the vagaries of the TA points allocation system, it managed to get itself rated #1 hotel in Karon in a very short space of time. This is the fault of the TA ratings system, not of the hotel.

In people%26#39;s minds (well, ok, in my mind) this number one rating made it look as if it was pretending to be a 5 star resort. I%26#39;m glad you had a good stay there, and thanks for the feedback. Be sure to pose a warts and all review in the hotel section.
