Hi, my three female friends and I are travelling to Koh pha nang in december for a month, and we need advice and tips of where else to go i.e. phuket, koh sumui and koh tao. We are party animals and just want to shop shop shop! any advice???

Phuket is expensive; the best shopping of all in in Bangkok.

you would be better off sticking with Koh Phangan and Bangkok for most of your trip. Phuket is very expensive, and Koh Tao mostly just for people who want to dive. Koh Samui is much more commercialised then Phangan and people either love it or hate it. you can do trips of a few days from anywhere in Thailand once you get there. What about Chaing Mai? is it pretty easy to get to, and has some nice Elephant Trekking,and markets?
