Due to arrive on Sunday...can anyone give me a recent weather update as the forecasts all say either heavy rain or thunder storms.

Been raining alot during the past week. But that%26#39;s been the case pretty much everywhere in Thailand, not just Koh Chang. Yesterday the afternoon was pretty nice - quite a lot of sunshine. This morning, after a heavy shower, the sun is out too. So it looks like it is improving.

3 days ago a Thai told me about a white bird which is seen only at the beginning and the end of rainy season. He had seen it that morning and said, the rainy season is over now.

After that we had 2 really nasty days. Had a bit of sun yesterday and it%26#39;s sunny right now with big white clouds on the sky.

Maybe the guy was all stoned, I personally expect some more rain this month.

Is it flooding in Bangkok when it rains? We are heading off next week and my wife is so concern about flood. This is our first time in southeast asia and she%26#39;s frantic about the storm and the flooding.

There might be flooding. It will not harm you in any way. Usually it%26#39;s not more than an inconvenience.
