2 bedroom service aprtment

we are a family of 5 looking for a 2 bedroom service apartment. There are limited choice with reasonable price. I am wondering Centrepoint Lang suan is it walking distance to BTS and shopping areas. As I am bringing two children %26amp; my elderly mother inlaw, I don%26#39;t wish to exhaust them by walking too far.Otherwise, can anyone advise me any better choices, eg. Abloom, Omni Tower, Victory executive, Premier Resident or others. Thank you very much

We usually stay at the Centrepoint Langsuan. Last time in a 2 bed apartment. It had 2 bed /2 bath both beds being queensize or king. Very roomy but I imagine you%26#39;d need to have an extra bed set up in the lounge area. We have also stayed in their smaller 2 bed that just has one bath. Much less room with a very small lounge area - still set up with a queen and king beds. I expect they have some set up with singles.

Its about 500 mts to the BTS - the pavement is a bit broken up in places and there are some stalls on the way which could make it a little bad for your elderly mother-in-law, however they do have a complementary hotel tuk tuk that will take you (during daytime) from the hotel up to the BTS. Coming back you need to make your own way. Its a one way street so if you are taking a taxi it depends on where from - sometimes you have to go a long way around but its pretty cheap. If its raining its not a particularly good walk back from the BTS (and Central department store) Last year I had a very sore foot so I did find it a bit of a bother to do the walk but this year with a better foot no problems although if you have a lot of shopping its a pain. Overall I like the apartments and still choose to stay there each year.

Thanks for your advise. I was infact wondering Somerset Lake Point is a good choice, too?

You may wish to consider Abloom - which is apparently quite close to Sanam Pao bts and has good reviews. I think the other one is Pantip Court...not close to BTS but has good reviews. Premier Resident and Somerset lakepoint are not so close to bts either from what I know.

How about the Citadines chain - there are 4 in sukhumvit and a couple of them have very reasonably priced 2 bedroom apartments..good reviews too.

Best of luck

Thanks pink power, I will definitely look into the choices that you recommend.I hope the rate is reasonable too.Best regards

Omni Tower at Nana area...2 bedroom with kitchen for 4,500 baht/night

I have stayed for a week at the President Park Sukhumvit , i highly recommend

this place, very economical, clean and extremely friendly staff.

cheers

Thks BKKguy, and sorry for the slow response to your kind reply. I have booked Somerset lakepoint which asiatravel charges me at 6400thb for 2 nights for 2 bedroom aprt w b/f. I hope we will enjoy the stay there. We love Bkk very much and travel there once a while. We will survey those hotels/apts which tripadvisor experts reommend us and will try those places soon.

Hi mazengo, appreciate your recommendation. I went thru the hotel website. The place is indeed very nice and convenient however the rate is abit higher than Somerset Lakepoint hence I have choosen the later. My husband %26amp; I love BKK very much and will consider to book this place if we go just by ourselves. Nevertheless, i will still make a point to visit this hotel when we are going there next month. Can%26#39;t wait to be there now!
