Hi, I have booked our flights to Thailand mid January staying for 15 nights for our delayed honeymoon, we are planning to spend 3 nights in Bangkok and then head south. We want to include a stay on Koh Phi Phi and visit somewhere else too on the way but I’m lost on the other location and the accommodation. We would like a mix of luxury relaxation and activities on a budget, we have £1,250 to spend on all accommodation and like boutique style hotels and maybe staying on a beach bungalow but would still like creature comfort like hot water. Any help anyone can give would be great – Thank you Louise
Honeymoon in Thailand mid January any ideas where to stay?
Hi, if your thinking maybe Phuket, I can recommend the Movenpick its in a great location in Karon and has lovely accomodation and plunge pools in the villas, alternatively the Kata Thani is also nice but its a bit more remote, in Kata. Koh Samui is also a lovely Island and I can recommend the Centara Hotel, which is lovely and at one end of Cheweng so your not in the heart of it, but withing walking distance. Hope this helps, and congratulations, Im sure you will love wherever you end up in Thailand, its a wonderful country.

Only one place to stay on honeymoon at Phi Phi island: Phi Phi Island Village !!!! A bit remote, but absolute bliss.
With a budget of over 4500THB per night, you%26#39;ll have a lot of very comfortable accommodation options, no matter where you choose to stop.
It%26#39;s still a busy period though, so you may need to get in early to secure your first choice.
This page has some info which may help you find the right deal, once you find the hotels that suit you;

I agree with Fourb2. Your budget should get you some very decent accommodation even though your stay will be in High Season.
Have a look at http://www.khaolaklovers.com/ for information on Khao Lak and accommodation options, which range from bery cheap bungalows upto 5* luxury resorts and everything in between. Oh, yes and 25km of beautiful, largely unspoiled beaches with townships still largely uncomercialised (albeit Bang La On, the largest, is getting the first McD%26#39;s in the area just about now!)
If you see anything you like or want more information pop over to the Khao Lak Forum.
Is that 1250 per night or for all 15 nights? Just to clarify.
I know the £ has sunk like a stone bout £1250 per night would BUY you a place in 2 weeks!!! LOL
