Do we fill in the visa application form given on the plane?

Do we still fill in the visa application form handed out on the plan if we have a Tourist visa for 60 days?

(We sent for our Tourist visa on Thursday and we got it back this morning (Saturday) - how quick was that - I wonder why we have to wait weeks for our visas to visit Goa)

What you get on the plane is NOT a visa application, but a landing card which everyone must fill out.

If you have a visa, you put its number in the appropriate space.

(When you arrived in Thaiand without a visa, you got an exemption, NOT any kind of visa.)

The return part of the landing card will be stapled into your passport just the same as when you got an exemption, and you will get an entry stamp in your passport just the same, too, with the expiry date marked 60 days in the future rather than 30.

The visa will be stamped ';used.';
