Hi me and my partner r lookin in 2 goin to thailand arriving in bagkok for 3 nts then on to phuket for 7 then bk to bangkok for 2 to catch flight home well can anyone please tell us cost of things water drinks simple meals fags etc cheers sal and nick

Most accommodation supply a bottle of water per person per day(600ml) but you can buy a 10 litre water bottle for about 120 Thai Baht.

Small beers around 25B in bottle shop or around 60-80 in a Bar, Mixed drinks in Bars around 120-160B and Mixed drinks in bottles like vodka cruisers 60B in bottle shops and in bars 120-150B.

You can get a small meal for as little as 40B from a street cart but the average in a Restaurant is around 100B for a Thai main meal, rice about 20B and entrees from around 60B.

If you eat in the 4-5 star hotels expect to pay similar prices to anywhere else in the world.

Cigarettes are around 80B per pack of 25%26#39;s???

Pete has offered accurate info and keep in mind that everything gets cheaper the farther away from the main tourist areas such as Patong. If your on a tight budget try farther South too the Kata, Karon areas or even farther down to the Rawai area where I have been living for the last 13 years.
