Does anyone know if any of the sports bars in patong show he Melbourne cup?

12 day to go before we fly out to Patong :)

I%26#39;m guessing most bars in Bangla Road will show the Melbourne Cup. Try the Aussie Bar or Tiger Bar. Cheers Linda

The Melbourne Cup is being broadcast on Australia Network from 9-10am. Most bars wont be open that early, but I am sure Octapus Bar will have the normal free BBQ, as they do for any major Aussie sporting event.. Pity there is no TAB here....
