How far to walk?

Last time I went to Phi Phi, I stayed in the Ton Sai Bay and Loh Dalam Bay area. Sadly and very silly of me I didn%26#39;t realise you could get right to the other parts like Loh Bakao Bay and further that way ...... does anyone know how long it takes to walk from where the ferries drop you off to the remoter parts up by Bakao?

(I think I%26#39;ve spelt everything right!)

There is a path, but its not one you would want to do with luggage - you can get a long tail around to that part of the island or resorts will pick you up.

We book through an egent and tell them to arrange it all for us ahead of our arrival

The path is about 45 to an hour.

Haven%26#39;t booked anything yet, was just wondering how easy it was to get to and decide if its worth a stay. Long Tail sounds much more fun than lugging a huge back pack on a 45 min or so walk!

So true! And it is a gorgeous part of the Island! We stay at the Holiday Inn on Laem Tong Beach, its paradise.

But all of Thailand is hey!

From the Holiday Inn to Tonsai Bay its about 30 mins in a long tail and the scenery is spectacular, kick back with a chang and watch the land slip past - perfect!
