Koh Yao Yai Island - Any recomendations?

I didn%26#39;t find much info on the forum so I thought I%26#39;d post.

Thinking we should go to Koh Yao Yai instead of Phuket for our babymoon. Seems quiet, tranquil, and romantic for an early 30%26#39;s couple.

Has anyone been to Koh Yao Yai and if so, would you recommend it over Phuket?

We are planning to stay at Koh Yao Yai Village.

We too are looking at Koh Yao Yai Village, we have stayed at Phi Phi Island Village twice and Koh Yao Yai is the sister hotel, it opens next month so they are offering good opening specials. Phi Phi Island Village is just beautiful so I am sure that Koh Yao will be also.

Personally I like the island type holiday over Phuket.

From the information I have I don%26#39;t think it actually opens until November, so we should start seeing some reviews after that.
