Phi Phi Island New year 09/10

Hi

We are staying on Phi Phi island for new year, can anyone recommend any good bars/restaurants. Also have heard about the elephant treks, but also that some treat animals badly, any good advise for this type of trip.

Phi Phi Island New year 09/10

Stayed in Phi Phi in June and there are loads of bars and restaurants on phi phi don. The reggae bar is good fun with muay thai arena and lots of people and then follow the crowds to the beach parties (on the other side of the island from where the boats arrive). Went to lots of different restaurants, all with good, cheap food so would recommend pretty much anywhere.

Didn%26#39;t go on any elephant treks in Phi Phi however went in Northern Thailand (near Chiang Mai) at a elephant conservation centre where they are treated well. Its good fun and part of the thailand experience.
