Looking for Budget Hotel or Guesthouse in Silom...

I%26#39;m looking for a budget hotel (or guesthouse) in Silom. I%26#39;ve stayed at Baan Saladaeng. Liked the handy location etc; but I%26#39;d like to see what else there is. I%26#39;d like to be close to Sala Daeng Station and of course the food street. (2 blocks over.)

I%26#39;m talking peak season so I expect to pay a little more. My budget is 1000 to 1400 Baht.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

www.asiatravel.com has lots of hotels near Saladang/Silom from a hostel at 365Baht upwards.

I like (dont think its on this site) Silom Village bottom end of Silom Road towards the river, its usually about 1200 upwards. It situated within an open air restaurant and shopping complex with a stage for thai dancing etc.

You may try the Bangkok Christian Guest House. It%26#39;s within your budget, it%26#39;s friendly and clean. Breakfast isn%26#39;t that good though.

Not sure if this is too late or not. I suggest you check HQhostel (www.hqhostel.com). Their starting price is 380b. It%26#39;s clean and closed to Saladaeng BTS. Free breakfast is included.

That%26#39;s still plent of time to do the homework. I am going there end of this month. Desperately looking for a nice place to stay. Wanna 2 nights at a budget within 1000 Baht(Right now SUK11 seems perfect), and 2 nights at a better one within 1600 Baht, still looking for a good one with roof-top pool(seems difficult) .

Nothing wrong with Baan Saladaeng Inn. ...Just personal reasons that would not effect anyone on TA.
