Sounds very exciting. Wild and windy in Melbourne and probably 35 degrees in Bangkok. Hope you enjoy every second of your break!

Hi there,

You must be going at a similar time as us...We get to Bangkok on Monday 26th Oct. That night we are booked in for a dinner cruise on the Loy Nava. On Tues 27th we have a tour with Tong booked, off to see the floating markets, elephant bathing %26amp; I would also like to see the Erawan waterfalls. On the 28th, we%26#39;ll catch a minivan to Ayutthaya for the day. On the 29th, I%26#39;ll hit MBK for some last minute shopping!

Can%26#39;t wait!!

Cheers,

Tavia

We%26#39;ll be right behind you - arriving on the 28th. Will either of you be going on up to Chiang Mai for Loy Kratong?

Hi,

My wife and I did this dinner cruise last week and were not that impressed by it. Food was Ok but the overall experience was quite flat. We did the sunset cruise, which was a little rushed. There is no commentary on the boat, to point out any of the relevant sights/features on the river. I am sorry we didn%26#39;t book one of the larger %26#39;River Cruise%26#39; boats. Loy Nava is smaller and more personal, but as I indiacted the experience is a little flat and underwhelming.

Hi Guacho, I have always felt this way about the river cruises and have never found one that I liked. I may be jaded because i live here but I just never go the feel that they were worth the price they charge.

Old Lady Vagabond, my parents are from NJ (Monmouth). I hope you enjoy your trip and if you have any questions, don%26#39;t hesitate to ask. I only wish you get them to join you so I could see them.

Hi Maybe you can help us. Coming from NJ @ Ny.With two kids. 10-13 Can you rcomend any resturants that are fun that they would enjoy. Of course if you can recomend anything else they may rally enjoy that would be great.Thank You

Thanks tpatrick - wish we could bring them for you, but I think we%26#39;ve only got about .1kg left of our baggage allowance. How big are they?
