Vertigo at Banyan tree - are children allowed?

We are planning a trip to Bangkok and intend to have a meal at the Vertigo Restaurant at the Banyan tree - does anyone know if (very well behaved) children are allowed please?

I do have to say balustrades and general safety barriers are real scary!

I would imagine that very well behaved children are allowed; badly behaved children could risk being thrown out.

The age limit is 12. I%26#39;m wondering if your kids would like the cusine there - is quite sophisticated and very expensive.

That%26#39;s a shame - our daughter is 7 - but she has very sophisticated and (expensive) tastes due to having travelled extensively.

Well, on the bright side, it will save you a few bob.

It is a shame about the age limit, sorry if you have done so already but have you looked at Sirroco, Red Sky @ Centara Central World or even the top floor restaurant at the Landmark think it is called the Rib Room, I have not eaten there but popped up for a nosey and it is pretty swish.

Hi Jazz - thanks for that - most helpful - my hubbie is devestated about Vertigo so it may placate him!

No probs, we really wanted to do a %26#39;sky bar%26#39; mainly for the views but we were scuppered by really heavy rain and low clouds - oh well there is always next time..........
