Weather in Pattaya

Please can someone tell me what the weather is like in Pattaya, leaving UK Sat morning 17 Oct arriving Bkk Sun 18 Oct. Look forward to seeing the place again and some lovely smiling faces.

Not joking. Lots of heavy rain recently - it is monsoon season. Bangkok was also flooded.

Since you said that have looked on tinternet for any pictures, does not look good, thanks for the heads up, will it be difficult to get to Pattaya from bkk or will we have to wait. Thanks for the heads up.

Quite ok here.... floods are norm even with just a heavy rain shower. Normally subsides in a few hrs and doubt you%26#39;d even notice. ;)

Problem is the drainage system is inadequate and they dump all sorts of crap in it from grease and rubbish ect. Obviously gets clogged and well with a heavy rain the obvious will happen. Actually tried to clean it up a few years back, but didnt really help. :( Come and enjoy yourself. ;)

Most certainly will come and enjoy, have waited 18 months for this. When we were there in February last year, the day after we arrived a very heavy downpour and saw how the streets flooded (not on a big scale) mind you stood in warm rain and it felt great where we were so hot. Weather isnt great, only getting a couple of hours of sunshine per day. Rains (monsoon) everyday for a couple hours. The last two days has seen no rain, but as I type it is raining very hard.

Mainly it is cloudy but hot still.

I have been told that teh rainy season should have stopped about a week ago, or at least died down, still going strong though.
