Where to go?

Hi

I want to go to Thailand next year. It will be my first time and im really having a difficult time deciding where to go.

I like the look of all the things to do and see in Bangkok but i also like the look of scenery and places to relax in somewhere like Phuket say.

I dont really like the sound of stayingin a busy city like Bangkok for 2 whole weeks but would like to vist there.

Where would any one recommend?

many tourists will do 3 days in bangkok 3 or 4 in chaing mai and then head south for a week on a beach .phuket is the busiest ,most touristy and most expensive beach destination in thailand ,fine if thats what you are after..

Thanks..Yes just been looking at Phuket dont really like the look of it. Any ideas of any nice beach resorts?

tell us what you like ,busy ,quiet ,restaurants, bars ,discos ,are you older ,younger ,do you want rest or go on trips every day ,what star accomodation etc...also what monthare you planning on coming?

we are a young couple, we want a good selection of Resturants and a few Bars, we would like it to be somewhere we can relax however if we did want to go on a trip that option was there.

O and we are looking at going either June or September of next year.

take a look at the south end of chaweng beach ,koh samui..
