A week?

I%26#39;ll be going to Phuket before heading to Chiang Mai and Bangkok and was wondering if a week was too long a stay? I%26#39;ll be travelling alone and am planning to stay about a week at each place (only been to Bangkok before). I want to stay in Patong for its convenience and will be doing some island day tours but is there anything else I can do besides laze around the beach and visit the shopping areas during the day? Any suggestions would be helpful!

There is quite alot to see and do in Phuket. Visit the national parks, Fantasea, Aquarium, northwest area near the airport...

Make sure you go and see the Temple and Big Bhudda, you can hire a private driver for the day to take you around to all the attractions.

So many Islands to visit, check out Racha Island Koh Yao, Phang Nga Bay, Phi Phi.

Try and get on a sailing trip with Captain Mark Phuket Sailing Tours.

Go on an Elephant Trek, visit the Zoo and Gibbons.

Shop!!

I think getting bored is almost impossible!

No, you won%26#39;t get bored in a week. There is so much to see %26amp; do. Stop off at one of the many tour desks along the beach road in Patong %26amp; check out what tours etc.. they have to offer.

There is a rather lot to do and you can always just lounge about on the beach.

We spent about a week and were not bored.
