any good budget resort/hotel?

I%26#39;m heading to Khao Lak from the 1st Dec to 5th Dec.

I%26#39;m having problem finding a good, budget resort/hotel.

Help?

Are there any places for some light shopping?

(i%26#39;m planning to pack light.)

I sure do hope the stuff there are affordable!

What is your budget for accommoidation? Are you bothered whether it has a pool and/or is near to the beach? Do you want to be near restaurants and bars?

What kind of shopping are you thinking of? Khao Lak, in fairness, is not a shopper%26#39;s paradise. It is mainly local crafts and souvenirs including ';copies';.
