Crushed ice in drinks

Hi does anyone know if the crushed ice served in drinks such as in slushies that you can buy while relaxing on the beach is safe, and also if you have ice in your drinks at the bars

Most ice is safe, but sometimes you can get upset stomach from it. If you worry about it, avoid crushed ice and use only cubed ice which you can buy in 7-11 and similar places. Also, if you do get stomach upsets, avoid ice completely and drink warm water.

from personal experience the wife and i have had ice in our drinks probably every day of the 1000 plus days we have spent in thailand and other asian countrys ,had a salad every day too ,never had a tummy upset between us

Ice is delivered to bars, not made on site,. I agree with the others, an upset tummy will probably not be caused by ice. A change in your diet will be a more likely cause.

Don%26#39;t drink the water, brush teeth with bottled water, eat at places that at least look clean.

I disagree!

I have gotten sick on holidays a few times and each time had nailed in down to ice in drinks. (At least the times I got sick was when I ventured to have ice drinks. ) I have learned and don%26#39;t do it anymore.

I have a sensitive stomach, I guess. My husband has exactly same things and doesn%26#39;t get sick.

I have learned to drink lots of bottled water. It seems to flush bad things out of your system.

stick to beer hehe.i guess the times i have been sick is proberly not the ice but the amount of drinks i have had.

The ice is dafe, nothing to worry about.

But: all the cold in your stomach can upset your stomach, so take care with ice. Not because of the quality of the ice, but because of the cold.

Sorry, should be: the ice is safe%26#39;.

i am sticking to singha
