Is my trip too full?

I am going to Thailand for 18 full days and right now I have 3 days in Chiang Mai, 3 in Krabi, 3 in Ko Chang and 3 in BKK with one day for Chantaburi. Is that too much? My concern is that we wont be able to enjoy the beach because we only have 3 days before we need to go to the other beach at Ko Chang. Should I pick one and spend a full week there instead of trying to cram in 2 beaches?

Thanks

If you have to be in Chanthaburi for some particular purpose, than perhaps skip Krabi, and add those days on to Koh Chang and Chiang Mai.

Where are you spending the remaining 5 days that are outstanding?

Is my trip too full?

Mostly traveling from city to city. I was thinking about making Chantaburi a day trip from BKK, maybe overnighting. I don%26#39;t have any buisness there, I just wanted to see the ';gem cutting capital of the world';

I would perhaps drop Ko Chang and add a day to Chiang Mai and 2 more to Krabi.

This will drop your traveling time considerably and perhaps free up another day for one of your destinations. Seriously conser if time permit going to Kanchanaburi for an overnighter.

From BKK to Chiang Mai you could either fly or travel on the overnight sleeper train further cutting down on your travel time.

We have some pics, maps and stories of our trips to the above areas here... www.bobandjanette.com which may help.

Happy %26amp; safe travels

Just a sugguestion but why plan so exactly?You may get somewhere and fall in love with it,all the places you mentioned are great locations.Travel inside Thailand is fairly inexpensive and you can easily just walk straight up and buy a ticket and there are so many hotel options you usually dont really need to pre book.I think a holiday is a time to relax and soak up the Thai culture dont spoil it with a hectic itinery.Enjoy your holiday it is a great place.
