Accommodation in Koh Phangan

Hi,

My boyfriend and I are looking to stay on Koh Phangan for about 4 nights over new year, and whilst we are thinking about going to the full moon party we would like to stay away from it in the more peaceful areas, can anyone recommend any places/areas we should look at? At present i feel like it%26#39;s a needle in a haystack situation!

I am also traveling to Koh Phangan for the FMP with my Girlfriend - I was at a FMP about 4 years ago in August - we stayed at the Blue Hill which would be perfect.... although it with many other places up and down the island are fully booked - or either require ridiculous minimum stays.

if you have any luck finding a place let us know.

we%26#39;re planing to stay on Koh Phangan from the 27th - 1st - and then spend some time on Samui, untill the 4th.

Try Hat Salat.

I was there few months ago and I loved it. I ve been to many resorts around the island and hat salat (don%26#39;t remember the exact name of the resort. It is the main one when you go down the hat salat main street) is very very nice. There is swimming pool, beautiful bedroom, very nice garden and not expensive at all.

It is out of the way and still not far from everything.

You can also try the east, North East side which is very peaceful and nice but it is very difficult to access. once you get there you don%26#39;t want to move!!!

Overall, if you are looking at a quiet place, don%26#39;t stay in the SE and SW of the island.
