Hi can anyone tell me about the building work just now? We arrive on Thursday and are a little concerned. Also what room is best to request? How much is it for taxi from the airport? Any other advice greatfully received, appreciate that I have left this a little late!!
Thanks, Louise
Cape Panwa hotel -help?
Hi Louise,
We were at Panwa in August and the building work was happening but we didnt find the noise intrusive at all. I believe that the work is supposed to be finished next month so I would assume they are up to decorating etc which I cant imagine being noisier than when we were there.
We paid about 400 baht for a taxi, walk out of the airport, turn right, walk to the end and there is a taxi booth, tell them where you need to go and a taxi appears..easy. I gained this info from here on TA,brilliant advise, people were still milling around looking for taxis and we were already on our way!
On the hotels website they have a map, http://www.capepanwa.com/location/index.asp. S L %26amp;J are where the renovations are, we have stayed in O which is close to the water and very quiet only downside was lots of stairs to go anywhere(R%26amp;N would be the same), this year we stayed on the top floor of D, great water views, perfect spot, if we go again I want to try F as it has views of the beach. Several fellow guests said the resident monkey often appears on F wings balconies early in the morning!
Have a great time!
