Seafood restaurants at Palai Beach

Hi all, in using the TA search function, came to know,a few TA forumers over here had eaten at either these restaurants.

Palai Seafood, Prantalay, Tang Kae Restaurant and Pong Pang Seafood.

In short, which will be the best in terms of food presentation, portion, and price perspective.

What mode of payment was used-cash or plastic.

Is the food spicy and hot or there are dishes that are not inclined to that,as two of my friends are not able to take spicy and hot dishes.

Hi mKiara, I have been to Tang Kae and Phong Pang restaurants, they were both nice with good views and the bill for 5 of us was 1100baht. You can ask for the food to be not spicy as the little girl with us does not eat spicy food. Not sure if they take plastic.

Another really beautiful restaurant on the way to Kamala is Hin Tang, the food is lovely and the views are sensational. I have not added this one to the website yet but have some photos and prices of our meal posted here.

Will settle for Phong Phang. Thanks also for guiding me to your travel page.Lovely photos, and must be ';aroy'; food.

Hmm, must go easy on the tom yum, which you mentioned nearly killed...your palate,I supposed.

the little girl-is that your friend%26#39;s Daj daughter-named Matahari.In Malay,it means sunshine.

Well, the name Phuket, does derives from the Malay word-which means mountain, which does summed up some of Phuket%26#39;s mountainous terrain.

Yes mKiara, that is Daj%26#39;s daughter, Daj%26#39;s wife ordered our dinner and we told her to just oder it the way they would have it. Hot, Hot, Hot haha but good!
