I am planning a triip to Thailand for 1 month next June. We are in our thirties and have two children aged 11 and 9 years. It has been easy to plan the Chiang Mai and Bangkik leg of the trip using great recommendations from Tripadvisor. The problem is trying to decide on a beach or island for the last 10 days of the holiday. Looks like we are confined to the Gulf coast at that time of year. Koh Samui and Ko Tao sound very commercial. We are looking for a nice sandy beach with good snorkelling and with a good vibe that is not party party. Can anybody out there recommend a place that fits that bill. Would really appreciate your advice on this.
