Think it is a bit too far to go to Coral island by long tail boat. We went by speedboat and that took nearly half an hour. Check with the tour companies all over Phuket to get the best deal. Last time we were at Phuket we were told that the daytrips to Coral island were stopped for a while to save the coral. This was 2 years ago.

I used to get a longtail from Chalong and last March from Cape Panwa. Plenty of longtails going there in the high season.

Plenty of longtails going to Coral island, especially from Rawai and Chalong.

I would expect it to be around 1200 Baht.

We went by speedboat in December and it took about 15 minutes. Longtail should be more or less twice as long. We paid 800b for our day (including lunch) and we really had a wonderful day. It%26#39;s a nice quiet litte island, great for relaxing and getting away from busy Phuket.

That 800 Baht is per person or for the boat?
