I am traveling with a total of 5 people (2 guys, 3 girls) in our mid 20s to bangkok from Dec 24-27 and we looking for recommendations for places to stay in the Sukhumvit part of Bangkok?
Ideally, we like to spend $40-$50 US or 1200-1500 baht per night for the room. Our ideal preference would be a 2 bedroom suite ($100-$125 US/night) that can fit all 5 people, but if not then we would be looking for 2-3 rooms (2 bedrooms if for one of the rooms the bedroom and living room are completely separated).
Also would be great if the hotel is located pretty close to the skytrain
Any help would be much appreciated

Try the Citadines line of apartments - there%26#39;s a few of them in various Sois in Bangkok (Soi 8, 11, 16 etc) - I think most are fairly close to the Skytrain and quite reasonable. Have a look at www.wotif.com.au - they seem to have quite good rates there.
Hope this helps :o)

Hi why not try these apartments although not in sukhumvit area easy to get to we stayed there in september www.theriversidebangkok.com
Away from Suk Rd, but look at the Abloom apartments too. US$120 for a 2 bedroom apartment, and the facility has all the trimmings of a 4 star hotel. A very short walk or free tuk tuk ride to Sanam Pao BTS station.
