anybody done JC Tours Similans 1 day tour?

Hi, was have used JC Tours before, but was just wondering what their 1 day trip to Similans by speedboat was like. Just wondering as it we book before end of Oct for any dates even after that time it is only 2900 baht pp and free one way tranfer from airport to hotel and don%26#39;t have to pay till we get there....seems like a good deal but would like to hear what other people think.

I%26#39;ve used JC Tours for both their Phi Phi and Phang Nga tours, and have only good things to say about them. I can%26#39;t comment on the trip to the Similians, but the tour operator is really worth the money. Just keep in mind that the Similians are quite far from Phuket, you%26#39;re looking at a 2 hour trip to get there and 2 hours back. I%26#39;m not sure if the travelling time is worth the few hours that you%26#39;ll be there?

Hi, I read someone else%26#39;s account of going to Similans *not sure what company they used) and they said after all the tours they did (and they listed quite an impressive list) it was the Similan trip that was the highlight even with all the traveling....so I thought hell, why not, seeing it is suppose to be really something to behold.
