Which Krabi hotel for our overdue honeymoon. We like beach and exploring and eateries other than hotel in walking distance so far agent thinks Krabi Cha Da or Krabi la Playa but rather get recent experts/ experience please?

You could tryh Khao Lak too. In fact Khao Lak and Krabi is a great combination. Ony just over 2 hours apart by road. Fly into Krabi, stay x nights, transfer by road to Khao Lak, stay y nights, fly out of Phuket (onlyan hour away.)
