Shangri La - Upgrade to Krungthep

We will be spending 3 nights at the Shangri La next month. It is about $65 USD per night to upgrade to the Krungthep wing, which includes breakfast and cocktails. Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Thoughts from anyone who%26#39;s stayed there in the past? Also, I believe the Shangri La wing is ungoing renovations and the Krungthrep Wing is not affected.

If breakfast is not included in your present room already, and its $65 per room, then its worth it.

Apart from a sumptious buffet breakfast, afternoon tea, and light food in the evening, you also get free soft drinks all day and by the pool and access to computers and internet.

I was there earlier this year. The lower rooms in the Krungthep wings were being refurbished but it did not affect us on the higher floors.
