Hi two more sleeps for me and of to Heathrow to fly to Bangkok with Evaair. My lucky partner flew out yesterday wish I was there wth her. Anyway im a bit confused and hope someone can help. I am meeting her at Bangkok airport and then fly straight away to Phuket. We are staying at Centara Villas Phuket. Is this far from the airport ?? will we need to get a taxi, We are only there for 6 days can you reccomend nice eating places near to the resort and also a good place for massage,pedicure,manicure.Yes I am sure all these questions have been answered before but please help.

its our first time to Thailand and am so looking forward to it.

Oh last question is there a beauro de change when we get to Phuket airport. Thankyou for your help in advance

Centara is in Karon so yes you need a taxi, it would probably take just under an hour depending on traffic.

When you exit the airport go right and you will see the taxi booth, ignore the touts that will try to get you to use them. You pay 100baht booking fee at the booth then it would probably cost around 400 baht on the meter to the driver.

You will find everything you need in Karon and yes there are money changers at the airport.

can you help please

your accomodation is in Karon and is about 45 minutes from the airport by taxi. Walk out of the airport and turn right, walk about 50 meters to the meter taxi booth and order a taxi from the attendent (i think you need to pay in 100 baht and he will order a taxi for you). Taxi will be aobut 400 - 500 baht.
