Hi! We are arriving in Bangkok on the day of the Kings Birthday. I was wondering what kind of celebrations happen and if we should be aware of anything? We are staying at the Pathumwan Princess hotel, i hope we get to see the fireworks!Thank you!!!

There are celebrations in several parts of the city - Rachadamneon Avenue, Sanam Luang, Suan Amporn, Royal Plaza etc. The whole city is illuminated during December and the biggest event is viewing the lights in Rachadamnoen Avenue in the evening (if you can get there through the crowds.
