I would also apreciate some talk about the weather as my wife can%26#39;t tolerate the hot weather and she gets headache very fast. Thanks a lot.

1st time in phuket

Phuket is not the destination for someone who doesn%26#39;t like HOT weather (aircon will be her friend).

As far as quiet beaches in November you will need to move away from Patong and perhaps head to the Southern beaches.

We have some pics, maps and stories of our Phuket trips here... www.bobandjanette.com which may help you choose a location.

Happy %26amp; safe travels

1st time in phuket

Hi thesea,

I would recommend Karon Beach, or perhaps even Kata Beach. Karon Beach gets pretty busy, but it%26#39;s far quieter in comparison with Patong. The beach is also a lot quieter and nicer in my opinion, as Patong has a lot of jetski activities that can drive a person mad. Karon has excellent shopping and dining oppertunities, but if you really feel like you need more action you can always head into Patong (a 3km drive away).

Kata Beach is even quieter than Karon, so it%26#39;s also a good option in your case.

Weatherwise if will always be hot, but depending on the year it will be either hot and wet (rainy season) or hot and dry. November should see occasional rain but should be sunny, hot and humid for the most part. I%26#39;d recommend that your wife carries a botttle water with her all the time, dehydration is common for tourists. Remember to carry your hats and wear sunscreen and you should be fine!
