Hi all,
We will be visiting Koh Chang in February 2010.
We visited Thailand a few years ago in the month of February and bought plenty of mangosteens and rambutans.
Are these fruits available on Koh Chang or should we buy a bunch in Bangkok before we come to Koh Chang?
We love these fruits and don%26#39;t want to miss out on them.
Thanks a bunch!
Fresh Fruit
Lots of fruit is grown on koh Chang and elsewhere in this part of Thailand, but the main season is around May - July where you see loads of people selling all types of fruits by the truckload on the roadside around Chantaburi.
You%26#39;ll be able to get some mangosteen and rambutan in February but the prices will be comparatively high as they%26#39;ll have to come from the north of Thailand, they wont be grown locally. You%26#39;ll see small stalls selling fresh fruit by the roadside or in the markets when you are here.
